Product Description
The internal components of this switch include a metal plate and a spring pivot, ensuring optimal performance and durability. However, over time, the spring displacement and potential aging or deformation of the plastic bracket can affect the switch's flexibility. In such cases, it is recommended to power off the switch and inspect the internal components. If the issue is not related to any damaged plastic parts, there might be a chance to restore its functionality.
It's important to note that the switch's neutral wire is independent of the switch components. Therefore, if there is a tripped circuit breaker due to the switch, it could be a result of insulation damage to the neutral wire passing through the switch. In such instances, carefully trim the damaged section and ensure proper insulation during rewiring.
Another possible cause for malfunction could be a short circuit in the indicator light's wiring. Simply reconnecting the wires should resolve this issue.
