Product Description
Featuring a metal button and a lock function, this switch ensures enhanced security and convenience. The internal mechanism consists of a metal plate and a spring pivot, providing a responsive and smooth operation. However, over time, the spring displacement and potential aging or deformation of the plastic bracket may affect the switch's flexibility. In such cases, the switch can be disassembled after power disconnection to inspect for any plastic component damage. If the issue lies elsewhere, there might be a chance of restoration.
It's crucial to note that the switch's neutral wire is independent of the switch components. Therefore, if there is a sudden air switch trip due to insulation damage in the neutral wire passing through the switch, it can be resolved by cutting off the damaged section and rewire it while ensuring proper insulation.
Additionally, if there is a short circuit in the indicator light's terminals, a simple rewiring process can rectify the issue.
